MIAMI, 12 September 2012 – MP & Silva, a leading international media rights agency, announced today they have extended their partnership with Major League Soccer (MLS), North America’s top-flight professional soccer league until 2014.

The deal includes the exclusive rights distribution outside North America to all MLS games, tournaments and events, including MLS regular season, MLS Cup Playoffs and MLS Cup.

Internationally, MP & Silva continues to support MLS’ increase in global popularity. The 2011 MLS season reached 118 million homes in a total of 112 countries.

Carlo Pozzali, MP & Silva CEO Americas said: “We are very proud to be working with Major League Soccer since 2008 and to be part of their international growth since then. With more international players joining the league and more clubs sure to come on board in future years, the future of MLS is bright.”

“MP & Silva is a valued partner of MLS,” said MLS President Mark Abbott. “We look forward to continuing to work with them to build the profile of MLS outside of the United States and Canada.”
